About Community Parent and Chasing the Dragon |

Community Parent was formed in conjunction with the Chasing the Dragon presentation in March of 2011 after two teenage girls died two days apart. On February 14th and 16th these two friends died of heroin overdoses. Community Parent was formed to provide resources to educate and ensure the safety of all children one community at a time. Whether it be drug use, suicide, bullying, abuse and so many other areas that need resources, we are working on solutions and sources.
Community Parent is a non profit organization that includes: · Community Leaders · School teachers, board members and administrators · Parents · Students · Local, State and Federal law enforcement officials · Judges · Political leaders · Local Business leaders · Healthcare representatives · Social Service representatives
No barriers… No political agendas outside of what we can do together to provide resources and solutions to educate and ensure the safety of all children one community at a time. |

Chasing the Dragon was first presented on March 21st 2011 In just over one year it will have been presented to over 20,000 students, thousands more teachers, administrators, parents, as well as to many local business and community leaders. |
